Creating Calm: University Housing is "home" to the New Sensory & Wellbeing Suite

University Housing is proud to share the opening of the Sensory & Wellbeing Suite, a new space designed to nurture mindfulness, connection, and emotional balance within the Kent State community.

Located on the lower level of Centennial Court B, the suite features a sensory room, individual wellness rooms, and a group engagement room鈥攅ach thoughtfully designed to support the diverse wellness needs of students, faculty, and staff. Though situated within a residence hall, the suite is open to everyone with an active FLASHcard and is located separately from residential spaces to maintain a quiet, restorative environment.

The development of the Sensory & Wellbeing Suite was made possible through Mental Health Support Funding awarded to 起点传媒 by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to creating environments that promote holistic wellness, inclusion, and belonging across campus.
