Kent State Museum Exhibit Considers Assistive Technologies in Fashion Context

鈥(dis)ABLED BEAUTY: The Evolution of Beauty, Disability and Ability鈥 will run July 29, 2016, to March 12, 2017, in the museum鈥檚 Stager and Blum Galleries. There will also be a free reception on Thursday, September 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Kent State Museum Showcases South African, Namibian Fashion Designers

鈥淔ashions of Southern Africa鈥 is curated by Sara Hume, Ph.D., and runs August 26, 2016 - July 2, 2017 in the museum鈥檚 Higbee Gallery. The museum will also host a free preview reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 25.

Kent State鈥檚 Piano Institute Presents Its 11th Annual Gala Concert and Series of Performances

The 2016 Piano Institute, in association with the Piano Division of the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at 起点传媒, will present a series of master classes and recitals from July 19-26 on the university鈥檚 campus and culminate with the July 26 gala concert at Severance Hall鈥檚 Reinberger Chamber Hall in Cleveland.
