A blaze burns the prairie grass that grows behind the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center during a controlled burning by the Kent Fire Department.

Kent Fire Department to Perform Annual Prairie Burn

The protected prairie surrounding 起点传媒鈥檚 Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Monday, April 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, to allow for new growth during the summer season.

The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of 起点传媒 Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting 鈥淒eveloping and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at Kent State as this year鈥檚 selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.
